Vulnerable Customer Training

How to recognise potential indicators of vulnerability during interactions — whether face-to-face, by phone, or online — and how to adapt approach to protect the customer and support a fair outcome. Staff who let this course expire, or who haven't yet completed it, will be unable to move forward in the sales process.

Consumer Rights Act Training

The key provisions of the Consumer Rights Act as they apply to vehicle and product sales, helping staff handle queries and disputes confidently and in line with legal requirements.

Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) Training

Suitable for

All regulated sales employees

The obligations placed on dealerships under the IDD — including how insurance products must be presented and what information must be provided to customers — and how to meet them consistently within a dealership sales environment.

SMCR (Senior Managers & Certification Regime) Training

Suitable for

All regulated sales and aftersales employees, plus all Certified Function holders. SMCR training isn't just for managers — every member of staff needs to understand the risks and responsibilities that come with it.

GAP Insurance

The purpose, structure, and key features of Guaranteed Asset Protection insurance, including the compliant way to present GAP to customers as part of a vehicle purchase.

Warranty Products

Warranty product knowledge, how warranty products differ from manufacturer warranties, and the obligations that apply when recommending or arranging cover for customers.

Tyre Insurance

Product features, eligibility criteria, key exclusions, and the appropriate way to present tyre insurance within a compliant sales process.

SMART Insurance

Small to Medium Area Repair Technology insurance — product features, typical customer scenarios, and the regulatory requirements that apply to its sale and arrangement.

Alloy Insurance

Alloy wheel insurance product terms, exclusions, and the compliant presentation of this cover as part of the dealership's product offering.

Additional LMS Features

Appraisals

For some clients, appraisal sign-off is a manufacturer or business requirement. This course requires Sales Executives to complete a supervised vehicle appraisal with a Sales Manager. Once completed, the appraisal is uploaded to the LMS and signed off as successfully completed. Renewals are managed automatically — with reminders issued ahead of expiry and access to the TCF system restricted until the appraisal is redone. Renewal frequency is set quarterly by default but can be adjusted to suit individual client requirements.

Upload and Record In-House Training

The LMS upload function allows users to log in-house training against each user's profile directly. For each entry, users select the course name, date, time spent, and document type before uploading a supporting file — accepted as a PDF, JPG, DOC, or DOCX. Uploaded documents are stored against the individual and accessible at any time from their course history page, keeping a complete record of all training activity in one place.

Ability to Conduct a Fit Person's Form

We can also conduct a Fit Person's form at a user's commencement of employment, and at regular intervals throughout, checking for:

  • A declaration requiring users to confirm they have read, understood, and will abide by the FCA Principles
  • Unspent criminal convictions relating to fraud
  • Whether the user is currently subject to criminal proceedings
  • Civil proceedings and County Court Judgments (CCJs), including follow-up questions on the value and number of CCJs or judgement debts
  • Bankruptcy, insolvency, or voluntary arrangements
  • Misconduct or malpractice investigations
  • Conflicts of interest, such as outside business interests or employment
  • Any circumstances that could give rise to allegations that the company has failed to fulfil its professional duties

If any question is answered "yes", this is automatically emailed to the client's Compliance Management team for review.
